WATER AND SEWER
The City of Prescott is served by Prescott Water and Light. with both water and sewer service. The City of Prescott has a river source, (Little Missouri River) serving municipal and rural customers. There is a 2,000,000 gallon per day water plant capacity with peak consumption of 900,000 gallons per day.
The City of Prescott provides sewer service, collection and treatment within the City of Prescott. There is an 850,000 gallon wastewater treatment plant capacity with peak treatment of 600,000 gallons per day.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Business and residential modern telecommunication services are provided by CenturyLink and Hope Cable TV (Cablelynx) in the City of Prescott and northern part of Nevada County and Southwestern Bell Telephone in the southern part of Nevada County.
