Message From the County Judge

Sixty years ago, I became a resident of Nevada County. It goes without saying that having lived, worked, and traded here all my life, I am deeply vested in it. As a native of the county, I would like to share a few marketable facts that I believe worthy of mentioning.

Nevada County has abundant industrial land for sale, located between two exits on Interstate 30. Having commercial water and sewer, this land is easily accessed directly from a state highway running parallel to Interstate 30.

There are three US highways traversing our county as well as a major railroad with an active spur.

We have two public schools that offer a quality education. In addition, each facility offers a variety of sports and organizations for the healthy growth and development of our youth.

With beautiful lakes and plentiful forests, Nevada County offers a host of fishing and hunting opportunities.

The good citizens of this county join me in a heartfelt invitation for you to visit. Please afford us the opportunity to show our hospitality and the reasons we love Nevada County.
